A Muslim Jewish, or a Jew in a Muslim

Fishel Benkhald, born as Faisal Khalid, is called the last surviving Jew in Pakistan. Previously, he was registered as a Muslim, but he was specially allowed to register as a Jew from the Ministry of the interior, after he converted to his mother's faith, who, says he, was a Jew.

He is very vocal on social media about his faith and he calls himself a"guerrillativist"as he says he puts himself in a situation that is a form of protest.

For quite some time, Fishel asked the Pakistani government to send him to Israel so that he could connect with the Holy Land and go for pilgrimage.

To do so, he will certainly need a special permit, because the passport holders in Pakistan are not allowed to travel to Israel by the federal government. This is due to the fact that Pakistan does not recognize Israel as a state.

Pakistan and Israel do not have each other's embassies in their own countries, but they are believed to have contacted each other through Turkish embassies

So, anyway, basically they exist in some way, while relations between the two countries are tense. But after a few months of seeking it, Fishel was finally allowed to visit Israel with a Pakistani passport from the government. In fact, Prime Minister Imran Khan called the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

According to Fishel, his mother was secretly a practicing Jew, but his father was a liberal Muslim. His mother would practice Judaism in the privacy of their homes, and Fishel always felt a strong pull to the Jewish faith.

This is the story that Fishel is talking about, but according to news reports, the person called Iqbal contacted them claiming to be the brothers of the Fishel.

Those who claim to be the brothers of the Fishel said that their mother was Muslim from birth to death, and even performed Hajj. He said that he does not know why Fishel insists on these things. He offers in his publication a copy of the birth certificate of his mother, and she cites her as an adherent of Islam.

However, identifying Fishel as a Jew, whether or not his mother is a Jew, should be sufficient to demonstrate just how Jewish a Jew is.
